my stance on fiction and reality [TW]
i feel there's a lot on discourse on pedophilia and koda-cons (loli and shota likers). i am not a pedophile, nor a koda-con, lolicon, or shotacon at all, however i am free to make my stance.
pedophilia is meant to be a mental disorder. even if the direct definition is having a special attraction to prepubescent children, pedophiles are still attracted to children. it is wrong, however if they do not plan to genuinely harm someone AND plan to recover, then they should be pardoned for it unless they do the opposite.
not to mention, pedophilia =/= predators. a predator, specifically child predators, is someone that actually plans to harm children, and generally someone, either a minority or not. pedophilia =/= grooming, as grooming is the act of persuading someone to do something harmful. grooming can be done with all ages.
the discourse of fiction and reality is also a big thing. fiction and reality are meant to be separated, meaning if someone is a loli/shota/koda-con and that person looks at a real life child with no sexual intent, then they know boundaries and is not predatory. yes, they may be dubbed a pedophile, but unless the character, the voice actor, or maybe the person based off the character is actually/mentioned to be underage, then being those people does not mean they are a pedophile.
note that those people may still need to be questioned if they are actually around children; teacher, parent, family member, guardian, etc. keep in mind not all loli/shota/koda-cons are predators, however they may be pedophiles.
reminder i do not want any of #those people interacting with me, but this is my stance on this topic
